Burrata, meaning "buttery" in Italian is a fresh cheese made from a mix of mozzarella and cream originated in the Apulia region of Italy. The outside thin shell is a pasta filata curd made of buffalo and/or cow's milk mozzarella while the insides contain a soft, doughy, stringy, mixture of curd and fresh cream.
起源于意大利阿普利亚地区的布拉塔奶酪,在意大利语中译为”黄油“,是一种由马苏里拉和奶油混合而成的新鲜奶酪。外面的薄皮是由水牛和/或牛乳马苏里拉制成的意大利面丝状奶酪,而里面则是一种软软的、筋道的混合凝乳的新鲜奶油。

When you cut open a Burrata, it oozes with buttery and creamy panna containing scraps of mozzarella. The taste of Burrata goes well with salads, crusty bread, and prosciutto, fresh tomatoes with olive oil and with spaghetti or pizza.
